Creamy Carbonara~ (mushroom flavour??)

Haven't got cheese at home??? Not to worry! You still can whip up a super easy carbonara which will match those that use "raw cheese"~

All you need is:-
a) 1 can of Cheese and Herb Prego Sauce
b) 2 cans of Campbell Mushroom Soup (Large cans)
c) Fresh Oyster Mushrooms (or mushrooms of your own choice)
d) Streaky Bacon ( As much as you love)
e) Shallots and Garlic (not a necessity~ )
f) Pasta of your choice~ ( I still love the normal spaghetti )

YES! Only these few ingredients is needed! So here is what you gotta do:-
1) Fry the bacon with as little oil as possible, till crispy. Remove them from heat and cool them off on some paper towels to remove excess oil. Keep 2 tbsp of bacon oil from the pan. Cut the bacon to small pieces.
2) Use a little bit of butter to fry the CHOPPED shallots and garlic. (I find that butter makes the best fragrance). Fry till fragrant.
3) Add mushrooms and continue to fry till the mushrooms are cooked.
4) Pour the 2 cans of mushroom soup paste and add 1 1/2 cans of water and cook till boiling.
5) Add the 1 can of prego sauce.
6) Cook the pasta, drain and toss with 1 tbsp of bacon oil.
6) Continue stirring till well mixed. The longer you cook, the creamier the sauce.
7) Just before serving, add in the bacon (not too long or they will be soggy) and cook for another 5 minutes.
8) Serve hot on pasta and YOU"RE DONE!

Isn't it just simple~ This recipe is more of a mushroom taste. For a more cheesy effect just add loads of  shredded Parmesan Cheese to your plate of pasta~ Enjoy~
